Rabbits

I am currently specializing in mini rex rabbits in tri colours (they are so pretty!). My partner in addition to breeding tri mini rex breeds reds and broken coloured American Fuzzy Lops.

Mini Rex and Fuzzy lops are wonderful pets! Being that their full grown size isn't much more than 4-5 lbs, they don't require huge cages like larger rabbits do. They have wonderful personalities as well. I just can't say enough wonderful things about these rabbits!

MG's Chani
This is my "herd" buck. He is such a sweety, always looking for attention and treats. I bring him into the house from time to time and let him run around the kitchen. The cat is never sure what to make of him and he has no fear of the cat. It sure is funny watching a 4 lb rabbit making a cat scramble backwards.

Rosy
This is Rosy relaxing in her cage. She is a great mom too. She is a larger doe, exceeding the weight maximum for the breed, but produces lovely babies.

A peak in the nestbox
Here you can see the lovely nest Rosy built to have her litter of babies. They were born on May 26 and are aproximately a week old. They started opening their eyes a few days after this picture was taken.

This is one of my favorite images
Here they are when they were just 3 weeks old. They all piled up together to cuddle and keep warm even though the temperatures were quite nice.
There was one doe (female) and 5 bucks (males) in the litter. All the bucks are for sale at this time. 3 are quite nice looking show prospects and two don't have enough markings but would make good breeding rabbits.

The doe may be for sale, she also does not have enough colour for show, but looks like she will be a great brood doe.

This is a picture of the first litter that Chani and Rosy had together. We kept one of the two does for future breeding. They were so nicely marked.
